In both 2004 and 2005 it works fine. All I do is point the Drive that the CD is located and tell it that I selecting RAC!. This is on the Directories Tab for user options.
I do nothing else and it runs just fine in both versions (2004, 2005). The setup is the same, could not be simpler. 73, de KD1F Emil -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of FireBrick Sent: Wednesday, June 02, 2004 2:20 PM To: DXBase List Cc: GOLIST Subject: [Dxbase] RAC and DXBase2005 Ok Guys, I've previously use HamCall. I would install it to C drive. Now I just got the RAC. I used the setup program to install to my hard drive. The program will run and find callsigns and addresses. But from DXBase2005, I get a Not Found, RAC Error 3 In Options I made sure I had CDCDROM as C, a \ in the CDROM Data Path Box and RAC! in the CDROM Type box. Checkmarks in both Activate and Auto Screen Lookups. Windows XP, plenty of hard drive, memory etc. DXBAse2005 and the new RAC Summer 2004 CDROM (John, jewel case was crushed, but cdrom survived ok and installed with no problem) ----------------------------------------------------- The most expensive component always breaks first. ----------------------------------------------------- Bill H. in Chicagoland _______________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase
