I'm about to submit my DXCC application and have test run the award submission in DXB2005. I see that the sort of the QSO's on the QSO form is by band and mode but the mode now includes a DIGITAL mode separate from RTTY where older version of DXBase appeared to only have a RTTY mode.
To the best I can tell from reading the DXCC rules and corresponding with the DXCC program desk at the ARRL the QSO sort should not treat DIGITAL(PSK) separated from RTTY. They should be combined into the same category and then sorted by prefix after being sorted by band. The current form from the ARRL does list a DIGITAL mode and the QSO from that prints from within DXBase does not include a DIGITAL mode in the instructions printed at the top of the QSO form. Is there a way to get the QSO form to sort in this order? The "Combine RTTY and DIGITAL" checkbox in the QSO Filter sub box of the DXCC Award submission form does not impact this QSO form output. I have tried it both ways. I can of course do all of this by hand in the combined order but it sure would be nice to have the report from DXBase2005 output the QSO form in the appropriate order of sorted by band and then mode without having DIGITAL followed by Phone and then RTTY. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Have I missed some config option somewhere? Thanks, Vic K4RVH
