After having great success using the internal CW keyer feature in DXbase
2004/5, all of a sudden it refuses to work at all.

My setup is radio 1 on com1 and radio 2 on com4 with the CW running on com1.
When I upgraded to 2005, it worked after running the driver setup.
Since the problem started, I have run the dxbdvr program 20 times or more
and it still does not solve the problem. I have checked port addresses and
amended com3's address to match the PCMIA modem that uses that port, just in
case that was an issue. No joy.

I have an RS232 analyzer in line and I'm sure that the software is not
toggling the line. Also, I get a key down condition when the computer is
booting up as the comport inits, so I know that I have connectivty and the
keying circuit is working. So I'm left with an unexplained software driver
glitch that is really starting to irritate.

I retreated to the 2004 version and it too has the problem. I used N1MM
logger over the weekend and its handling of the CW function was perfect.

The only thing I have done to my computer recently that might affect ports
is that I have a) added a wireless PCMIA card (which did not affect anything
at the time I added it) and b) I pulled out the PCMIA modem for a couple of
days and replaced it. I noticed the problem not long after that, but I'm
not sure it was coincidental.

Anybody got any bright ideas?
