To all, Well -- we still may have a problem on some machines - even with the newest version I sent out ...
This is the only problem when programming a report and the report works OK on my machine (probably because I have the Crystal Reports program itself on my machine) -- The newest version of the report which I just finished sending out to all who had requested it has a "date and time of the file" as: 6/30/2004 7:17 P.M. Pse be sure that the iotaneeded.rpt file that you have in your 2005 Reports folder is of that Date and Time .. Also, I had to REVISE the Rptdesc.ini file -- to read as fols: iotaneeded.rpt B IOTA Needed List. Pse doublecheck to make sure that your Rptdesc.ini file entry looks like the above line.. What I ran into - is: To put you callsign on the Report (as Jim N8JV made it) - he used one table from your *.mdb logbook file -- BUT, that table is NOT LINKED to anything in the Crystal Reports program REPORT that he made - so it just could not work (as programmed) -- I simply removed the FIELD in the report where YOUR CALLSIGN was placed -- and it works OK now .. at least on some machines..
