Actually, field checkers can't do 160 cards, but cards can be checked in the field if an ARRL official is in attendence. Similarly I had a number of over ten-year-old cards checked at Visalia a couple of years ago, where an ARRL guy approved them. Which brings up the fact that the selection logic is slightly flawed. It won't select 160 cards for field checking, but it will select cards over 10 years old. So if you *really* want only cards that can be checked by an ARRL field checker, you have to use the selection wizard in a twp-step process. I know because I've been putting together a submission to take to the SW Division convention and had to do it. BTW, if I still have your attention, I've discovered another gotcha...not a DXBase problem (relax Jack) but something that might be of interest. I decided to apply for LoTW credits for all of my available QSLs *and* at the same time indicated that I would be submitting paper cards at the convention. One would think that this new and improved super-duper computerized system would immediately (once my credit card was hit) move the "selected" QSLs to the "credited" column. Nooope. After some email traffic with headquarters I learned that my application was a single entity and until my paper cards are field checked, the application just sits there. And since I have an application "pending", I can't add any new Qs to it either.
