Believe it or not, (I am finding it hard to believe myself) I am still trying to put together a DXCC submission for field checking.
The limit for the application is 120 QSOs so I'm trying to use all of my new ones plus flesh out the number using 40 meter QSOs. Also, I've picked some cards with multiple band QSOs to minimize the number of cards while maximizing the count toward 5BDXCC and DX Challenge. I am resigned to picking the cards myself and adding a comment in the Special 2 column as a selection flag. So I added "SWConv" in that column to indicate that these cards are to be checked at the ARRL SW Division convention this week. (At the rate I'm going I better hurry) At this point I have 109 QSOs manually selected, so I figured I would use the Selection Wizard to grab some more 40-meter QSLs to select for adding to my list. If I first run the wizard with a QSO filter of Special-2 = "SWConv" I get as expected 109 Qs returned. If I create a DXCC application using the wizard table as a source, the award submission generator says there are 3 pages and 109 entries and the first entry on the QSO form is a 10-meter QSO with JX7DFA and again, as expected, 109 QSOs on the list. So far, so good. Now if I re-run the jester---sorry---wizard, *without emptying the output table* and a new selection filter of Band = "40" I expect to get only 40 meter QSOs (439 of them) added to the table. When I run a DXCC application from the wizard data, I sure enough get some added 40-meter QSOs. The DXCC report generator says there are 3 pages and 115 entries; however, there are actually *116* entries on the list. I reversed the process by clearing the wizard output table and running the 40-meter filter first (439) and the SWConv filter second (109), without emptying the table. I created a DXCC submission from the table, and the report generator says there are 3 pages and 111 entries but there are *113* entries on the list. And for one, JX7DFA is conspicuous by his absence. Can anyone explain what the hell is going on?
