I'm getting ready to do some mobile and portable operation from time to time. When mobile, I'll most likely paper log and then manually enter the QSO's into dxbase. With portable, I'll probably use a separate DXbase database file on a laptop, then import to my main DXbase database.
I'd specifically like the QSO records to show these as mobile/portable QSO's, and MY state, county, and grid for each QSO. Does anyone have any recommended scheme for noting this info? This info could go in Notes, Special 1, or Special 2 fields, but since I'm just starting out with this, I thought I'd ask for recommendations before going down a path that causes unforeseen problems later.
