Not really enough information here to offer specific advice since you did not describe your backup process. But, my assumption is that you copied your database from a CD? If so, you must remove the read-only flag from the file after your copy it to your hard drive. Or, you are trying to read it from a CD directly instead of copying it to your hard drive. You cannot do either of these because the files on a CD are set to read-only.
