The Help files for DXB2005 under CW Interface, CW memories contains the following statement: "The character sign @ may be placed in the text of a message. This character tells DXbase to substitute the current callsign from the log whenever it encounters the @ character in the text of a message." The word "whenever" should be replaced with the words "the first time." If you put in more than one @ character in a single message, the @ character is sent.
This is a really nice feature, allowing an automated response based on info in the QSO log. On my wish list for DXB2006, please consider adding provisions for picking up RSTs and operator name in CW memories also. 73 de Chuck NI0C From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 22 02:15:13 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Joseph Glockner) Date: Thu Jul 22 02:18:01 2004 Subject: [Dxbase] New Report only for DXbase2005 -- Check WPX column entries - Joe wa6axe Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Good morning to all: Those of the DXbase2005 users who would like to receive a copy of the "Check WPX" report - pse just send me an email and I will send it along - along with the necessary Rptdesc.ini file entry.. This new report is meant to show ONLY those logbook entries which might have or actually have an error in the WPX column. Then, you as the user, can manually change the WPX column -- if you wish to do so.. Cheers and have a great day!! 73 Joe WA6AXE
