I am new with DXbase so do not take this as the true word. I am under the
impression that LOTW confirmation just automatically put Date Sent in the LOTW
box as weather or not you sent it to LOTW not confirmed in DXBase. This is an
option box you must check I think in the set up in dxbase whne making an ATIF
file. When the ARRL confirms the contact then yuu must manually check the box
manulaly AWARD and CFM box in DXbase.

Subject: [Dxbase] loading LoTW while DXB is running
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY
I strongly suggest you test this only AFTER saving a backup copy of your
databases.

But I've been testing this for a month and not a single hiccup.
I've put Non DXB Import into the Programs Menu list.
After downloading my LoTWReport.adi
WITH DXBASE LOADED AND RUNNING.

I can start the import module and import my LoTW qsl's.

I've seen NO problems.
I originally tested it just to see what would happen and was surprised to see
that it had
no effect on my files.
I find I CAN'T run ACCESS MAINTAINER while I have a database open.
It will compact the other log files, but NOT the log file I have open.

You DO have to INITIALIZE after the import for the reports to include any added
qsls.

I'm running WinXP Pro SP2 on a Athlon 3200 machine with lot's of hard drive
space.

Again....Test this before trusting it....Your machine may not like it....
