I'm not sure it was N5IN that went down. I think part of the network went down as my normal VE7CC dropped out and I had to SWITCH to N5IN. LOL
As for suggestions. First let me say that I strongly suggest downloading the Free AR User interface from VE7CC. It's specific for AR and Spider Cluster Software and offers a GUI to do away with the arcane commands that I get wrong at least 3 times before success. http://ve7cc.net/ I start ARU, Start DXBase and tell DXB to look to look to the 127.0.0.1 localhost xpoxkjlg node. ARU lets me filter out the source of spots by country, state, band, mode easily. Also filters out Announce/Fulls WX spots etc. and to answer your question Bob....it comes with a full list of the major Cluster Nodes and you can switch on the fly. You can even start multiple instances of ARU, each to a different node. (if you pick a mega cluster, it's not likely you will miss anything though) And did I mention......IT'S FREE??? lol ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Main" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DXBase" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 6:52 AM Subject: [Dxbase] Which One? Suggestions? I'm in SC and have been using the N5IN cluster but it went down yesterday morning. I'm using DX Central which I don't care for because I can't seem to filter out anything and I could care less what Europe and the far East is hearing. I think somebody had suggested the W4LEE cluster, but just tried it and it is down too. Anybody have a suggestion or two?
