Greg, I had the same problem with the IC7800 the PW1 and DXbase. The solution was to change some parameters in DXbase. I will look in my email history file and send you the specifics. Karl N1DL

I have an issue that I would love to have some help with if anyone knows any tricks... I have an Icom 756 Pro II and a K1NU interface...it works fine with DXBase... I bought a PW-1 and connected it as the diagram shows so that the amp and the radio and the computer interface all come together in a Y connector at the back of the radio. The amp syncs with the radio and bandswitches successfully with the radio. DXBase imports "garbage" for the frequency (and hence the band as well) and sometimes it gets the mode right ... sometimes not. A little aside -- sometimes if I log something after changing bands, DXBase does get some of the correct info -- but only the first time I try to log something. Settings have remained the same -- using 5Ch so I can use it with Writelog as well. Using 4800 baud and yes "transceive" is on in the radio. Radio works fine with the software...only when I add the PW-1 to the mix does the radio info get garbled. Anyone have any suggestions to try? Thanks. 73 de Greg-N4CC ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 21 14:01:52 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Mail fromJim/Connie) Date: Tue Dec 21 14:12:57 2004 Subject: [Dxbase] County Name Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I believe MARLES county in the DXbase county list in Missouri should read MARIES county VA6JR - Jim From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 21 15:01:57 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Joseph Glockner) Date: Tue Dec 21 15:13:05 2004 Subject: [Dxbase] County Name References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Jim, Yes - that is correct -- and for ALL of the updates/mods that shud be made to the County names - pse visit: http://www.dxbase.com/Counties.htm 73 Joe wa6axe Mail fromJim/Connie wrote: > I believe MARLES county in the DXbase county list in Missouri should read > MARIES county > > VA6JR - Jim > ______________________________________________________________ > Dxbase mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[email protected] >
