Almost correct, but VP8ROT is a club call for Rothera base so it will always
be count for Antarctica. It should be added to the call map as KC4. All the
other BAS base callsigns VP8HAL, VP8SIG, VP8SGK, VP8SGB & VP8FAR are in the
call map correctly.

Mike (GM0HCQ) who was active as VP8ROT last night, has a personal call
VP8CMH. He has also been active as VP8SGK & VP8SIG this season, both base
(club) calls.

Also to be correct my old call VP8GAV should be removed from the call map -
I operated mainly from Antarctica but was also active at times from South
Georgia, South Orkneys & the Falklands with the same call..

In theory you can use any callsign issued for antarctic use anywhere south
of 60 degrees, in practice it depends on the licence. My VP8GAV licence is
issued for use in Falkland Is + Dependants and British Antarctic territory.
That is a wedge shape area between 20 and 80deg west. EM1KA decided he
fancied change, so he used VP8CTR for a while from the same qth. Confused
yet?

So there you go, all very confusing. I would like to see all software and
DXCC adopt a prefix like *Ant or somthing else unique as Antarctica. Even
CE9 is not unique, some CE9's are on the South Shetlands.
