Jim, When someone has difficulty making an ICOM radio work it is usually the result of one or more of the following:
1. Radio set to autobaud instead of a fixed baud. 2. Radio address does not agree with DXbase radios.ini file. 3. DTR and/or RTS need to be set in DXbase user options. 4. Other serial port options in DXbase user options not set to agree with radio. 5. Some other device is also using the same comport or IRQ. 6. Cable from pc to interface box is not fully wired with all leads connected. 7. Radio interface not turned on in user options. 8. Log option not set to use the radio when logging. 9. Some other interface in DXbase is turned on and also using same comport as radio. Hope this helps, Jack ----- Original Message ----- From: "jim" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <dxbase@mailman.qth.net> Sent: Saturday, February 05, 2005 11:13 AM Subject: [Dxbase] ic 756 I am having a problem with getting ic 756 with ct-17 civ to be recognized for radio control. same set up works perfect with Logger.
