One of the things that I have found out in the last few days going back and trying to fill in grids is that the majority of my cards are from '78-'84. They don't have grids on the cards and if fact many didn't even have ITU Zones. Also the prefixes of the countries have changed. I was looking at a list last night that had countries with single grid and saw countries that I know I've worked and had confirmed, but the prefixes didn't match up. I even have a list that tells me the countries I had worked and confirmed and it showed today's prefixes and said I had it confirmed, but no clue what the old prefix was. They also did have deleted countries in the list either, at least I don't think it did.
Guess when I get a little more energetic I'll try to figure out what is different prefixes. 73s Bob KB4CL From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 5 06:41:28 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Wes (N7WS) and Linda) Date: Tue Apr 5 09:43:36 2005 Subject: [Dxbase] Grids In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> At 06:11 AM 4/5/2005 -0400, Bob Main wrote: >One of the things that I have found out in the last few days going back and trying to fill in grids is that the majority of my cards are from '78-'84. I assume this is in response to the CQ Grid Field award. The grids didn't exist before 1/1/1980 so don't bother with them.
