By any chance have you turned off CiV transceive on the the Icom radio? all the other software packages you mention work by continually polling the radio, this creates a constant flow of updated info for the beam's interface to follow. However Dxbase only polls the receiver when it needs to (a far 'nicer' way to behave!) so for the beam to detect changes you will either need to cause the software to read the radio (I.e log something or click a spot ..) or turn CiV transceive back on, with this on the radio sends data out the CiV interface any time any setting is changed giving the stepper the info it needs to follow you around the bands without waiting for software to poll it Hope this helps 73 Brendan EI6IZ
