Have you downloaded the lotwimport.adi file from the LoTW website?

Have you done a "NONDXB IMPORT" of that .adi file?

Have you downloaded the new reports that Joe Glockner, WA6AXE has created that
create all
the reports concerning your LoTW qsls?

Have you gone to Joe's website to see descriptions of these various reports and
the
instructions on how to install them?

Hi Bill
I think we have our wires crossed. All of my QSOs' that I have submitted
to LoTW are there.
I was just interested in how you determined the number of QSOs that you
had confirmed using LoTW. I don't think it is the same figures that are
shown in the upper right corner of the LoTW web site. i.e., I have 6XXX Qs
submitted and 708 (?) confirmed. I'm guessing the 200 that you said you have
are individual call signs. How did you get that number?

1. Change the subject of emails, my filters are sending to the wrong folders
 hihi

Ok, Select the Selection Wizard.
1. The first screen of the Wizard asks what type of Output Type you want.
Choose ADIF File.

2. Make sure NONE of the filter boxes on this screen are ticked.
Nothing in Opr. Call.
Nothing in Active Category (the Individual or Mixed are either/or, just
disregard)

3. Go to the Filters screen

4. We are going to do it all. We are going to send your ENTIRE log to LoTW
again.
This is not a problem, your old submission will just be overwritten with no
harm and your
new entries will be appended.
Make sure NOTHING IS TICKED and click on OK.

5. You will now be back at the first Screen of the Selection Wizard.
Click Start, It will ask your WHERE you want to save this file and what you
want to name
it.
I use <mycall.adi>
I will save the file, you will see the numbers in the screen change.

6. Goto the TQSL folder and select the applet to 'SIGN' this .adi file.
Under the File Menu Item, you will select "Sign Existing Adif or Cabrillo
File"
It then asks for the path of the .adi file you created.
It then asks for the path where you want the .tq8 file to be created and
stored.
Click Save
If there is an existing file by that name it will ask if you want to replace
it. Select
YES
It will then ask a series of questions about the file. For this exercise,
leave the Qso
Date Range window empty and click on OK.
At this point it should start 'Signing' all your qso's.
This may take a few moments depending on how many qso's you have.

7. When the process is completed, you will now have a file saved called
<mycall.tq8>
This is the file that will be UPLOADED to LoTW.

Ok, follow me so far?

Ok let's try this by the numbers.

1. You are a member of LoTW, have a certificate and can access the site and
see the qso's
you submitted?

2. You submitted the qso's to LoTW by using the Selection Wizard to create
an .adi file
that you then used the LoTW software to 'Sign' and create a .tq8 file?

3. You accessed the LoTW site and used the UPLOAD tab to send that .tq8 file
to LoTW?

4. You can access the site, use the YOUR QSO'S tab and select RECENT QSO'S
and see them.

Lets make sure we are on the same page with steps 1 through 4. First and
then we will take
it a step farther.

What seems to happen is someone misunderstands some step in the process and
from there on
everything just piles up.
We can solve this....

You aren't the first to have a problem and I guarantee you won't be the last

Bill
Thanks for the answer but I don't understand it. LoTW sure is
complicated and has done absolutely nothing for me. I can readily understand
why people get frustrated trying to set it up. I may just scrap the program
myself.

Well yes, it's in both.
You could count them on the LoTW screen although it will give you a total of
how many
qso's you submitted and how many your have received qsl's for.

Or
You can download the qsls report, import it into DXB and use the report
features to see
who has and how many LoTW Qsls you received.

Bill
How did you determined how many LoTW QSLs that are confirmed? Is this in
DXBase, LoTW, etc?

Congrats!!

I'm presently sitting at 260 worked/256 confirmed as of today on SSB, and
103 confirmed on CW. I think I'm going to be holding near there for the
next few years, though...at least till I move and get a SteppIR up at 60 ft!
