Gang,
On the ARRL LoTW site - QSO Download Report there is an option to Include
QSL detail.
Do you fellows (or gals) check this box?
Yes, I know it does give more detail, but DXBase seems to toss out any bad
data anyway. I.E.: VE Provinces and there is a handful of people that don't
spell the county the same way as DXbase expects it.
My thinking is this is a cool way to fill in some of the blanks if required.
In short - is there any harm checking the 'Detail' box? Pros - Cons?
Regards,
Eric - VE3GSI
P.S. No I am not blaming the good folks at ARRL or DXBase Wizards.

Hi All
Is it possible in dxbase to have a shortcut key so that when you log
your finished qso with ENDTIME you save it .just like F10 only one that
puts the endtime and save.

Subject: [Dxbase] station.txt
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
I have moved my station.txt out of the DXB directory to another/safer location.
The reason being that last year I upgraded from DXB 2004 to 2005 and after I
felt comfortable with 2005 I uninstalled 2004 and then deleted the folder.
That unfortunately also deleted the station.txt that I had been keeping up to
date. Luckily enough I had bought a new computer a couple months earlier and
had copied most of my hard drive to my daughter's extra harddrive and the file
was still there. I only lost a few months of notes, but most of them I
remembered. Anyway, the station.txt that I maintain is in a different location
so uninstalling or deleting old programs won't affect it.
Now I have two questions. With DXB 2006 installed and running do I uninstall
2005 and how do I clean up that program/files/registry entries? Is there an
INI or something for DXB where I can tell it where I am keeping "station.txt"
so I can get to it via DXB? If not, then no big deal.

Jacks report lists every thing. Joes report list all counties weather you
worked em or not. This new one I have not seen yet. What I am looking for is
I can just look for one state and just get that states counties in alphabetical
order with the same info that Jack has in his report. would be nice to list.
Not sure if it is a good idea the list the counties that have not been worked.
If you just use Jacks report, you have to do alot of scrolling to find the
state your looking for. lots of data. If a new program could search and list
only one station worked for one county and have the one confirmed take
presidants over on that worked. would be real cool. You do not want to list
like Milwaukee County 100 stationthat you worked and have to scroll through all
of them to get to Monroe County.

Subject: [Dxbase] DXbase2006 - Versatile USA County Report
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
For DXbase2006 users, I have made a report that will
provide the information on USA Counties. You can:
(1) Select to see ALL STATES or just one STATE
(2) Select to SORT the report by STATE - COUNTY or
by STATE - CALLSIGN
(3) Select to see only 1 QSO per County or see ALL
QSOs for that County. NOTE: When selecting "only 1 QSO
per County", confirmation via Card/Both takes priority
over a No or LoTW.
Since this is only for DXbase2006 users, and since the
number of DXbase users who might LOG their County Hunting
in DXbase might be relatively small, this new report will
ONLY be available via email attachment from myself. I will
not post this to my website.
