To all: The following was noted on The Ohio/Penn DX PacketCluster DX Bulletin No. 714 dated June 20, 2005:
R750/RK2/UA2, KALININGRAD (Special Activity/Event/Prefix). Victor, UA2FM, RK2FWA Trustee, wants to remind everyone that from June 20th to July 20th, UA2 hams will be active with a R750 prefix celebrating the 750th anniversary of Konigsberg - Kaliningrad. This NEW PREFIX of "R750" should be inserted into your DXbase "Alias Map" as follows: Main Menu DXbase - Tools / Database Access / Country Prefixes ... Then select the "Alias Map" TAB. Right click your mouse and select "Last Record". Enter the following: Map PFX R750 Pri PFX UA2 Touch ZZ9 Map PFX window to SAVE the updates. Now, whenever you work a Kaliningrad station with the R750 PFX (such as R750KY) -- the QSO will propagate the correct info.. Passing the above along as FYI. 73 Joe wa6axe
