I am using the Pegasus Radio interface with DXBase 2005 and the N4PY software.
I am using this configuration to allow the N4PY software to poll my Ten-Tec
Orion radio for its frequency so that the SteppIR antenna will tune to the
correct frequency when the transceiver frequency is changed.

The "Reset HF Frequency" command does not work with the Pegasus Interface. Can
that be fixed?

Thanks,

Subject: [Dxbase] WinKey and the com port
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

After some detective work, I, finally, got my WinKey to work, in WKXP,
N1MM and
DXBase2006. I am currently handicapped until my new comport card comes
in to give me more
than one comport.

What I have run into are a couple of issues.

1) Even though I did not have the "connect radio to com port" box
checked, I could not run
WinKey until I actually said "None" for radio. I could have probably
changed the port number
to a another port even though I do not have it now.

2) The real concern is, after I shut down DXBase2006, I went to WKXP and
could not open
WinKey again. Not until I opened DXBase, unselected WinKey, then shut
DXBase back down,
could I open WKXP. DXBase, apparently, tied up com 1, even though it was
shut down.

Once I get the other com ports installed, issue one will not be a
problem, but 2) will be a real
hassle if I have to go through that every time I switch programs. Is
this normal or am I doing
something wrong? I am new to DXBase Windows and Windows XP OS.
