1. Automatic updates. I strongly support the suggestion made by others for
automatic program updates. Individual users put in far too much time manually
updating various files. The idea of automatic downloads to update DxBase is
very appealing.
2. Simple Built-In Backup. The File drop down menu needs a choice called
"Backup". In addition to a choice of where to send the backup information,
users should be offered check boxes for the various files that need to be
backed up. Thus a user can backup the "mdb" file and optionally the various
".ini" files. It's archaic that this essential function is not already "built
in."
3. PC generated CW. The built-in CW functionality of DxBase should work
immediately when the program is installed and setup. Users should not have to
install CW drivers after basic program install.

Jack - I have been a loyal supporter and subscriber since 1992. I love DXBase!
However, If you check with ARRL, there is a ten band endorsement for DXCC -
this is 160 through 6 Meter and does not include 60M. I do understand that 60M
is HF and 6M is not. That being said, I have no need to see 60M contacts (as
they count for nothing) but I do want to see my 6M contacts listed without
having to go into "VHF." I would rather see 6M contacts on the HF window than
the 60M contacts. Just my Christmas wish. Merry Christmas to all, and to all
a good night.

I'll put in a vote for this one - my sentiments exactly! I could care less
about a band where ANYTHING you do to improve your signal is illegal and
that describes 60 meters.
