Yeah you ever hear of VHF and UHF? Radios all over the rack listening for band openings simultaneously... If you just run 1 radio you'll most likely miss all the rare ones.
My shack looks like a multi-multi all wired into one op position. The problem is no radio control. Since I can't seem to get 756PROII's or PRO III's to work right out of the box. 5 have been DOA or semi-DOA through the doors here.. I'm going to Four IC-7800's they get hooked to 144, 222, 432 and 1296 transverters... Oh well, hey I forgot my 6 meters.. I guess I'll need a fifth. After all, there are 3 MAJOR modes. That's 3 rigs right there. and if you want to take it a bit farther....9 HF bands, 6 & 2.... I think this will work... except for the "How will I get all that stuff from the UPS truck to the shack WITHOUT my wife noticing"; issue. ----------------------------------------------------- Wyoming State Motto: Where Men Are Men. and the sheep are scared! ----------------------------------------------------- Bill H. in Chicagoland webcams at http://24.14.49.4:8080 weather at http://mywebpages.comcast.net/w9ol/WX/HH.htm ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected]
