That is true there is a GROUP NAME in the IOTA database but NOT a Island Name.

Within a IOTA GROUP there could potentially be 20 islands. Let's 
assume George Bush
Island is one of the 20 and is acceptable last year. Now let's assume 
RSGB announces in
2006 George Bush Island is no longer good for that island GROUP. That 
would mean you
have 19 islands left within that group to choose from.

Granted you COULD use the notes field but some island names are long 
and leave no room
for any true notes.

The Island Name field if added could also be used for various other 
Island Programs such
as Canadian Islands, US Islands, etc.

Just an opinion. :)
