I was still a swl when we gave that band away. License a bit after that 
'experiment'.

Always said we should have given 6 to the cbers and kept 11.
If you remember, back then you didn't dare work 6 meters in any type of urban 
area during 
I Love Lucy... (for you whipper snappers, TV went off the air around 11PM...)

I have my asbestos underwear on...so flame away...

One of my side hobbies is trying to get all the DX stations confirmed that I 
worked as a 
Novice.
Got the Canal Zone card the other month...tracked the guy down...
