I have experienced it through several versions of DXBase... at least back to 
DXB2003.  It does seem more prevalent during the week leading up to a big DX 
contest or during the big DXpeditions, but it happens here occasionally under 
normal cluster activity.

Try changing the FOREGROUND colors as they are backwards from the way 
you think. :) It worked for me.
