I've seen a number of similar messages where someone suggests something is "wrong" because this or that deleted prefix doesn't cause the summary window to show stats for that deleted prefix.
The problem here is really a misunderstanding about what the summary window is all about. It is not designed to work as some of the messages suggest. It is intended to display results based on the current DXCC country list and their current prefix allocations. When you enter a "prefix" into the summary window, DXbase is "not" looking up that prefix. Instead, it is evaluating what you entered as if it was a callsign and then using all of the current prefix tables and callsign map tables, it is determining what country that entry is, based on current prefixes. So, when you enter "DM" into the summary window, DXbase uses the alias prefix tables to determine that today a DM callsign is the DL prefix and it displays those results. The exception to this is when you click on an existing QSO record in which the prefix field contains "DM". In this case, a direct lookup of that "DM" prefix is made and results displayed in the summary window. If you want to know about some deleted prefix, then use the previous QSO module to look up a specific prefix.
