Bob, I would recommend that if you find yourself in that situation, simply change the "Prefix" column's entry to the proper entity - then "touch" the drop-down for CQ Zone -- and the CQ Zone and ITU Zone will change automatically.
The "Prefix" column is the one critical item that once you change it to the proper thing - then you can change the others quite quickly. 73 Joe wa6axe ----Original Message Follows---- From: Bob <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Subject: [Dxbase] Wrong zone Date: Wed, 03 May 2006 10:00:16 -0700 MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: from mailman.qth.net ([63.238.179.60]) by bay0-mc6-f15.bay0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.1830); Wed, 3 May 2006 10:03:09 -0700 Received: from mailman.qth.net (mailman.qth.net [127.0.0.1])by mailman.qth.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 06D24859CBDfor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Wed, 3 May 2006 13:06:06 -0400 (EDT) Received: from ahmpp2.amerhonda.com (ahmpp2.honda.com [207.130.95.45])by mailman.qth.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id B4CBB859C1Afor <[email protected]>; Wed, 3 May 2006 13:06:01 -0400 (EDT) Received: from netsvcs3.amerhonda.com (smtp.amerhonda.com [207.130.28.19])by ahmpp2.amerhonda.com (8.13.6/8.13.4) with ESMTP id k43H2xYJ015928for <[email protected]>; Wed, 3 May 2006 10:02:59 -0700 Received: from [170.108.120.63] ([170.108.120.63])by netsvcs3.amerhonda.com (8.12.10/8.12.8) with ESMTP id k43H307t614186for <[email protected]>; Wed, 3 May 2006 10:03:00 -0700 X-Message-Info: LsUYwwHHNt2/OcH7jNY6FEDpXy8o1fJSQ2NR0ugRoPs= X-Original-To: [email protected] Delivered-To: [email protected] User-Agent: Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 (Windows/20060308) X-Proofpoint-Spam-Details: rule=notspam policy=default score=0 mlx=0adultscore=0 adjust=-120 reason=mlx engine=3.1.0-06042601definitions=3.0.0-06050306 X-BeenThere: [email protected] X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.4 Precedence: list List-Id: DXbase Ham Radio Logging Program <dxbase.mailman.qth.net> List-Unsubscribe: <http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase>,<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List-Archive: <http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/dxbase> List-Post: <mailto:[email protected]> List-Help: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List-Subscribe: <http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase>,<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Errors-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Return-Path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-OriginalArrivalTime: 03 May 2006 17:03:10.0658 (UTC) FILETIME=[74FDC220:01C66ED3] Greetings, I am looking for some advice on entering qso's into the log. I was working a pileup last night and entering the calls into my log. Typically, I would enter the call, tab over to the name and notes to record the other info. A few times I would only have a partial call or I might have gotten the prefix wrong. When this happened, DXbase would load the mistyped country, zone info and call prefix into the fields and not update when I correct the callsign. Is there a way to reset those fields while entering the call and/or after the qso is logged? What I had to do was either clear out all the info and start over or log it and afterwards start to enter a new QSO and copy those 4 fields to the original QSO.
