Hi Folks I've been running DxBase 2006 with Icom 7800, PW1 and Steppir for some time with no problems. Over the weekend I have been testing Ham Radio Deluxe with the possibility of using it to allow remote operation of my setup.
Comm 1 has a direct connection to the RS-232 socket on the back of the IC-7800 and the PW1 and Steppir then work from the CI-V remote socket. This has worked well with no problems. When I changed to HRD all controls worked well with the Icom 7800 but after changing back to DxBase 2006 I cannot change the frequency on the radio when clicking on a spot. The Radio however does respond when entering a callsign in the log by giving the correct frequency. I have rebooted with radio on/off and tried all manner of changes but still no luck. Anyone had a similar problem ? If so how did you resolve it please Many thanks Dave (G3SBP)
