Glenn, You may be using an M2 rotor control box that uses an updated RS232 command set. Recently, the commands were changed to require the 'A' character in some commands as follows:
In DXbase rotor options: Rotor Type M2 Initialize A rtn Turn Rotor A# rtn Stop Rotor S rtn Character selected Baud 9600 Parity None Word length 8 Stop bit 1 Rotor Offset Plus selected, 0, 5 Earlier versions of M2 did not require the leading A Regards, Jack ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 20, 2006 12:38 PM Subject: [Dxbase] Any tricks in setting up M2 RC2800PDC rotator ? >I have just received my first ever logging program Dxbase 2006 and have >gotten my radio and ARRL data CD to work.
