I have the problem also. I have DXbase 2007 installed on two PCs (one install is an upgrade from 2005; the other is new). There is no text with the vertical row of icons on the left side (that's what we're talking about, right?) on either PC. I just assumed it was normally that way. Font size and DPI setting is set to normal on both computers. There's no text with the icons set to either small or large.

I can also right click an icon and change the size too and still have text. I suspect the following might fix your problem. You may have a non-standard system font selected in your screen settings, or a non-standard DPI. To fix this, right-click on the Desktop, click on Properties in the popup menu, and make sure that FontSize is set to Normal on the Appearance tab. Then switch to the Settings tab, click on the Advanced button and set DPI Setting = Normal Size. Hope this helps, Eric - VE3GSI -----Original Message----- When I initiate the DXBase utility program a vertical row of icons is shown on the left hand side of the window. A text description used to be shown below each icon. The line of text has mysteriously disappeared. Is there a fix??
