Icom radios all have a preset address for computer communication. Although the instructions for many of the radios are identical, you have to make sure that the radio address is correct. You can either program your radio to an address for another radio, that is, pick an IC756ProIII and program your radio to 0x7F or pick the appropriate radio from the list. I think maybe the 7400 is the same as the IC746pro.
