Subject: [Dxbase] Scanning speed

I=92m using HRD Ver 3.4 Build 1241, under the XP O/S. Rig is a ICOM =
746.

=20

I keep getting a slow scan speed when using SCAN / SCAN FREQUENCIES.

I have several groups, containing a number of frequencies/favorites in =
the
scan window.

When I scan, the speed will usually be approx. 1.5 seconds per item =
(freq)
and not responsive to changes in the MIN. INTERVAL.

But every once in a while, it will change and appear to be doing what =
the
MIN INTERVAL specifies (e.g. 500 ms).

Got it to correct itself once while slowly changing the MIN INTERVAL =
from
slow to faster speeds during scan process,=20

but that isn=92t a work-around as I can=92t get it to work a second =
time.

=20

Anyone else notice this behavior? Am I doing something wrong?

I can provide a screen shot of the screen if desired..

=20

Thanks for any help, 73

Jim - W3DCT
