Eric, You just use the MMTTY program like you always do .. When you are wanting to start to LOG a QSO - you press the QSO button - then as the qso continues, click-on each of the data infos (callsign, etc) and they will be placed into each of the textboxes in MMTTY -- then as you CLICK the QSO button in MMTTY one more time, the QSO data is ALSO (now) sent to DXbase ...
YOU MUST imi MUST read the TXT file that is in the MMD6.0 zip file ... it tells you that you MUST go into MMTTY program's : Option(O) / Setup Logging(L)... "and" go to the Conversion TAB in that window - and look to the right-hand side of that window and you MUST radiobutton Turbo HAMLOG/Win !!! Once you do this and say OK ... then the BRIDGE/Interface will log into DXbase all ok.. 73 Joe wa6axe Eric - VE3GSI wrote: > Ok Joe, > > I have Bridge running, DXBase on the go a call on my MMTTY screen, I click > it, it goes to the MMTTY screen. Oba JA7UDE has done a fine job, I only asked him about 2 weeks ago if he could add DxBase and we completed testing it last weekend. It is very straight forward as Joe describes, of course it also works with MMVARI (a fine PSK / MFSK program) and MMSSTV. You can also download it from here http://www.hfdx.co.uk/dxbase/MMD600.zip If you find any issues with the program please pass them on to me and I will feed them back to Oba. Enjoy it and a big thanks to Oba JA7UDE. 73 Gavin GM0GAV -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joseph Glockner Sent: 09 November 2006 18:23 To: DXBase Reflector Subject: [Dxbase] MMTTY -full version- is now interfaced with DXbase - tnxto Oba JA7UDE To all: There was an email on the MMTTY reflector this morning from JA7UDE (Oba). He said that Gavin GM0GAV had asked him to make an interface between MMTTY (full blown version) and DXbase. Oba has made a "Bridge tool" program (sometime ago) and NOW has added DXbase to the program - so that we CAN run MMTTY and LOG directly into DXbase. You can access this file at the URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MMTTY/files/MMD600.zip I have tried the "bridge tool" program and it works perfectly. Be sure to read the TXT file that is in the MMD600.zip file.. You run the MMD600.exe program "first" -- then you open up MMTTY and DXbase .. you will see that the MMD600.exe program will acknowledge BOTH the MMTTY and DXbase programs by turning the BOX next to their names to a GREEN color.. You just simply USE MMTTY as you normally would, but when you click the QSO button for the 2nd time -- the QSO will be logged in DXbase -- be sure and SAVE the QSO in DXbase before you start another one.. Tnx to Gavin for asking Oba to do this for us!! 73 to all -- I am passing the above info along a FYI.. and, YES! the bridge tool program will work with any version of DXbase2004 and newer ...
