I have recently tried, without success, linking DXbase and ARUser,
like shown in the attached message below from WA9YSD.
I could not get DXBase to link with ARUserafter.
I talked to K8SIX, who only recently was able to make the link
successfully. Al said he had the same problems, but obtained
the ip host address to use in DXBase that solved the problem.
DXC.VE7CC.NET:7373 #VE7CC DX Spider
I added that line to the DXBase Host File, and then selected that
ip address in the DXBase User Options - Internet - IP Host.
The linking took place the first time that I brought up the
Internet Cluster Window in DXBase.
I don't know what the problems/reasons are, but one method worked
for WA9YSD and the other method worked for me!

Thanks every one. GOT IT FINALLY!!! DAH!
127.0.0.1 localhost ypoxkjlg Did NOT WORK no matter what.
127.0.0.1:7300
127.0.0.1:7300 localhost ypoxkjlg
127.0.0.1:7300 localhost
All three worked only when Logging Program Connection the Enable
Telenet Box is checked. I never had it checked. I keep getting Node
Connection Telent ticked confused. Man I hate this getting old stuff.
Many Thanks!!!!!!!

You need to use 127.0.0.1 on port 7300 in the host file. You want to
connect to the internal local host which uses that IP. Not the public
address that the AR user connects to
