I have had similar issues. I have some different seeting that work fine for me.
In Radios.ini changing the pacing value for your rig to 10. It's probably set to 5 now. In user options 1200baud parity none uncheck DTR high, RTS high and CTS set word length to 8 and stop bits to 1 This works FB for my Icom. Merry Chirstmas, Dale AA1QD
