RAC (Radio Amateur Callbook) has more DX calls
than any of the others. CD only as far as I know.
I copy all the data files to my hard drive and the
look-up is instantaneous. Only one draw-back with
it, it is only updated once every 6 months and you
must purchase a new CD to keep it up-to-date. I think
one or more of the other callbooks will let you download
updates ever so often. I guess it is more of a matter of
whether you are more interested in US call or DX at to
which one you would want.

Subject: [Dxbase] Callbook CDRom choice

Hi guys,

I would like to add automatic addressing capability to sending QSL cards but
don't yet have a callbook CD.

Which CDRom do you guys feel works the smoothest with DXBase?

Are any downloadable or are all CD-ROM's?
