Pick up the daylight time fix for W2K and W98/ME here:

http://www.intelliadmin.com/Downloads.htm

After you have run the patch, set up the time as if you are doing it for
the first time, this will insure the updates have taken effect. I have
done this for both W98/ME and W2K and my DXBase displays the correct GMT
time.

No - DXbase will not output a Cabrillo file.. But, you can output
an ADIF file (for a certain timeframe using the DXbase
Selection Wizard) and then use the LogConveter program from the
following website ... I have not used it myself, but there are
many people who have ...

Look for the title of the paragraph:

ADIF2CABR

DXBase will not create a Cabrillo file.
It will create .adi files.
There are .adi to cabrillo converters.

I normally use Writelog for contesting, and it creates both Cabrillo for
submission and .adi for conversion to DXBase.

But...you could do it the other way around.
covert your log to an .adi file
and then import that .adi file to Writelog or the free N1MM program.

And from there...it's easy to produce the Cabrillo file your looking for.

This is all assuming you wish to submit a contest you logged with DXBase.
If your plan is to submit to LoTW....than a .adi file is perfect.
As the LoTW signing module will accept both .adi and cabrillo.

That's what I do, once ever few days, I use the DXBase Wizard to create a
.adi file of recent qsos, not already submitted.
It saves this file as w9ol.adi, which I sign and submit to LoTW.

Takes all of 3 minutes....if that.

Will DXbase produce a Cabrillo format file from a "portion" of the main log?
I've been going thru the help files, but can't find any info. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks
David
