Hi all. Having a wierd problem I just can't figure out. Been through all the DXbase help files. DXbase controls the HF radio fine (albiet quite slowly) when clicking on cluster spots. Selects both VFOs OK when working split. However, when I am manually logging QSOs, the CTRL indicator illuminates on the 870 as if it is retrieving freq & band data from the radio, but DXbase doesn't populate the data at all. It logs the "defaults" set in options. The radio & DXbase are set to COM1, 9600, 1 & none. The port is set the same in the computer device manager. I have set & reset endlessly both radio & DXbase. I have "populate HF data from radio interface" checked in logging options. I have reset the CPU/menu on the TS870. I have no clue as to why this isn't working, yet sends data OK to the rig. Any ideas out there? I have the identical problem with DXBase 2007 and my radio - ICOM -756 PRO III, interfaced with the radio thru MicroHam Keyer driven by the USB Port. When clicking on a Dx spot, the radio VFO follows ( slowly) but when I enter/log a QSO in the main log it does not populate the frequency, only the date and mode. P.S. The same MicroHam/USB interface works perfectly with other programs, such as N1MM contest logger. I remember having to do it for the 706 here VE3WEJ Dave Garber ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Bodony" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, April 09, 2007 6:49 AM Subject: [Dxbase] RE : TS-870 >I have the identical problem with DXBase 2007 and my radio - ICOM -756 PRO >III, interfaced with the radio thru MicroHam Keyer driven by the USB Port. > > When clicking on a Dx spot, the radio VFO follows ( slowly) but when I > enter/log a QSO in the main log it does not populate the frequency, only > the date and mode. > > P.S.
