Hi I had a bit of discussion with one of the Global QSL guys and they seem to be very keen to work with logging software authors as they see excellent integration with logging software as very important. Ideally this could be done using a suitable API so as to remove entirely the ADIF part of the process
It's a shame that we cannot export the label file (or indeed just part of the label file) as a suitable ADIF file but to be fair to DXbase I very much doubt that there has ever been a need for this facility until now. using QSL_VIA as a tag can break things when importing to globalQSO (it expects either blank or a manager call in that data field, hopefully they cane come up with a work around so that one does not have to post edit the ADIF I make a lot of QSO's and like what I see with this service, it's about the same price as what I was paying for my cards AND they take the messing about getting things ready for the Buro work off my hands. I also expect that because the deliver directly to the end user's buro that buro delivery times should be better than via the EI buro in most cases. For printing my own cards I laser print directly on to the cards, much handier than printing on labels then sticking labels on the cards. My old Laser printer (a brother) could not sheet feed QSL cards and they used to curl very badly. My new printer (a HP P2015) sheet feeds QSLs from the 'Envelope feed' just fine and does not curl them 73 Brendan EI6IZ On Tue, 2007-05-15 at 00:11 +0000, Eugene Shablygin wrote: > GlobalQSL is a great new service, which outsources printing of buro > cards.
