To all DXbase2006/2007 && GlobalQSL users,
Pse read all of this email.. Since the REPORT I made for the GlobalQSL "adif" generator did NOT work on "some" computers, I decided to make a real program EXE file - that would do the same thing .. but, with the EXE program file, the outputted adi file is placed (already written after running the exe file) in your DXbase Main Directory - ready for you to upload to GlobalQSL website. If you wish to BETA test the new GlobalQSL adi generator EXE file - I just completed -- the ZIP file is located at: ***** For DXbase2006 ***** http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/GlobalQSLADI2006.zip ***** For DXbase2007 ***** http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/GlobalQSLADI2007.zip NOTE! -- ONLY use the proper EXE file (DXbase Version)!! It is built-in to recognize the version you are running. Please - if you want to try it out you can download the ZIP file (with the EXE file in the ZIP) - and SAVE it to really anyplace you want to -- I put mine in the DXbase Main Directory ... but, it will work from anywhere... Just run the exe file and I think you will be happy with it!! ???? The EXE file automatically makes an ADI file -- and the MAIN SCREEN will tell you where it is located at and the full filename ... The file is really very easy to follow (without any other explanations) -- I have built-in some CHECKS -- so, if you accidentally make a mistake -- a small warning window should come up with the words to tell you what happened.. If you do try it -- could you pse let me know IF you can execute it all ok -- and, if the output is good for you!! ?? TNX! If you have any questions about the EXE file - pse ask me directly. Tnx!! 73 Joe wa6axe From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 26 19:37:20 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Wes Stewart) Date: Sun Aug 26 19:39:28 2007 Subject: [Dxbase] DXCC selection problem Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I'm using DXb2005 v1.01 and tearing my hair out with this. I'm preparing a submission to add to my band/mode totals. So far, I've only noticed this issue with one call sign although there may be others I haven't noticed yet. I have three confirmed by card QSOs with 5W0VK, on 80, 20 and 15-meters. I have DXCC credit for these and the DXCC Awards boxes for all three are all checked. 1. If I go to Output->Awards->DXCC and in the DXCC Award Submission pane, select "80 meters", "Exclude past submissions", "Records from log" and "Cards only" and then Compute and view the QSO form, 5W0VK does not appear. So far so good. 2. If I repeat 1 and also select "CW", then 5W0VK does not appear. 3. But if repeat 1 and also select "Phone", then the 5W0VK QSO for 80-meter CW appears on the list. This QSO is not needed for CW, it's not needed for 80-meters and it's sure as hell not needed for Phone. Similar nonsense happens with other combinations, but *only* when "Phone" is part of the selection. I have totally deleted the QSO record and re-entered it and get the same results. I can invalidate this record and work round the issue, but is there something I'm overlooking? Was there (or is there) a patch I missed? Thanks, Wes
