To all DXbase 2006 users:

After triple-checking my code that makes up the EXE file for
the 4O (Montenegro) Automatic Updates to your DXbase 2006
Refdata and Logbook mdb files -- and -- after reviewing all of the
circumstances that happened for DXbase2006 users who had a problem,
here is where I am right now:

(1) The coding is all ok in my exe program.

(2) The users who had a problem - had corrupted databases before
they even used my DXbase2006 EXE update program file. The users
did not even know that they had a corrupted mdb file (logbook).

So, I am once again going to let the DXbase 2006 version of my
auto-update (4O) exe file be used - with the following conditions:

***** INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE of this EXE file ****** :

(1) Back-up (Very Important!!) - both your 2006 Refdata.mdb file
      and your 2006 Logbook.mdb file.

(2) To make sure that your logbook mdb file is NOT corrupted,
      pse do the following:

      (a) Initialize Stats - any ERROR? if no error - continue .. if
an error - go thru the "corrupted database repair" in the Help
Files to Repair the logbook mdb file.

      (b) Go to main menu/ Output/ HF Numeric Statistics / Countries...
Deleted Countries (No or Yes - doesn't matter) /
NOTE: If you get an ERROR message at any point in this
HF Numeric Stats check -- you will have to go thru the
"corrupted database repair" in the Help Files to Repair the
           logbook mdb file.

(3) BE SURE that your DXbase2006 main program is NOT imi NOT running
at all - when you run the auto-update exe file. Close DXbase down
completely - pse!

(4) Simply Un-zip the ZIP file and extract the EXE file into
your DXbase2006 main directory.

(5) Find the EXE filename/file (using Explorer or My Computer)
and double-click on the filename.. the utility should come
open/execute.. follow the dialog windows.. Once you are done with
the auto-update exe file - Open up DXbase and go to step 6.

(6) Re-initialize Stats.

Once you use the EXE program and you KNOW that you are
running DXbase2006 ALL OK - with the updates in-place, you
can and should go ahead and simply DELETE the EXE file.
ALL of the updates are embedded in the program itself - so once
you use the exe program -- you won't need it again..

Again - this is only for DXbase 2006. If you do use the exe
file to make the 4O updates to your 2006, pse let me know if
you ran into any problems with the exe file itself.
