When I enter the callsign 3A2MD in the QSO log and hit the TAB key, the program hangs up and won't allow me to delete the tentative entry with ESC or do anything else. (It does read the frequency and mode from my radio). My only recourse is to exit the program using CTRL-ALT-DELETE.
The same behavior is exhibited with this particular callsign on both my desktop computer with Windows XP Home Edition and my old laptop with Windows Me. I can enter other 3A callsigns without any problems. 73, Chuck NI0C From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 29 08:45:50 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (FireBrick) Date: Sun Jul 29 08:55:10 2007 Subject: [Dxbase] DXB2007 hangs up with certain callsign entry Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> The call that used to crash my system was DS8USH Every time And in other brand logging programs. Never figured out why, never solved the problem. I always wondered if there was some sort of internal command with that or part of that sequence that triggered the lock up. Hasn't happened in a long time though and forgot about it till your note. Sorry I can't offer more help other than suggest you do an 'Initialize'. or if that doesn't help. After saving your log to a safe location. Go to the DXBase Program Group and select "Import a DXBASE log" and then reimport your log On 7/29/2007 7:08:46 AM, Chuck Guenther ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) wrote: > When I enter the callsign 3A2MD in the QSO log and hit the TAB key, the > program hangs up and won't allow me to delete the tentative entry with ESC > or do anything else.
