I purchased a cable from G4ZLP to run my ICOM IC-756PROII so as to have the use of the keyboard CW from DXBase. I installed the legacy driver and have gone through the help files many times and find I still must have something set up wrong. It runs the frequency control and everything just fine, but the CW does nothing. The cable is on serial port 1 and I have RTS High and CTS both checked and DTR High is not checked. If I check DTR High the radio just keys up and stays keyed until I un check it. This gives me a clue that the cable is connected correctly but have the feeling that I have missed something. Help would be appreciated.
Also it appears that the AR-cluster Reflector has me locked out to send messages, so I thought I should put out the information that I have replaced my AR-Cluster Node with CC Cluster, (Faster and Better anyway). My connection to the node is still the same, k8smc.com or IP address 69.2.20.5 standard port 23. Terry, K8SMC . . . Never had a problem. But...just to be carefull, copy all your .mdb files to a safe place and try. I even made a shortcut, ctrlN to run the non-dxbase import. I do it with Writelog.adi files also.
