Subject: [Dxbase] DXB and the SDR1000 radio
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
I'm leaning the ins & outs of the SDR1000 radio.
It's 'supposed' to emulate the Kenwood TS2000 command set.
(it doesn't have the Kenwood KY command to send cw, an oversight that's
being corrected)
But what I find is that I loose connection. I think it's a 'polling'
situation.
Simply closing/opening the PowerSDR software re-establishes the link between
radio & DXB.
So anyone that is using a Kenwood TS2000,
I have 4800, 8, N, 1 on Com 3.
Should I enable any of the DTR, RTS, CTS options?
And if anyone with a 'improved' radio.ini file for the TS2000 would be so
kind as to send it to me as an attachement or paste it to an email, I'd
appreciate it.
and just for your information,
The radio works well, I'm still in the learning stage, it works with Joe's
DXBPSK version and the MMD bridge to MMTTY.
