What might I be missing here. I am trying to connect DX-base through VE7CC AR-User on a single PC using Windows 2000.
I have VE7CC AR-User running fine right now but I unable to get DXbase to be able to connect to my localhost. I have tried to connect through VE7CC AR-User program using in DXBase: 127.0.0.1:7300 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1:7300 localhost ypoxkjlg from the host file. Using Windows 2000. Google searches for answers has only turned up what I have done above and that isn't working. Looks like this on my PC too: http://www.bcdxc.org/ve7cc/logging.htm I must be missing something dumb/simple here. It all looks easy enough! Help. Thanks in advance 73 CW! In AR-User, Configuration-->Ports/Logging Program, under Logging Program Connection, I have Enable Telnet and Use Port 7300 checked. Under Data Sent to Logging Program, I have Live Spot Format and DX Spots checked. Connecting to a CC Cluster, you can also check DX State at the top.
