Bill, After about half a day of digging and trial and error, I have interfaced my FT-2000 to DXbase 2007. DXbase and the radio are talking to each other, but I haven't had time to use it much yet. There could be some fine tuning to be done later, but as of now, it appears to be working fine. The first task is obtaining the section of code required for the DXbase file called "Radios.ini". Follow the info below to get the file that has the necessary code. It is credited to NF8R. Use the following info to obtain the file. =======================

It should take you into the actual radio.ini file. Scroll down in the file or search for FT2000 in the file. Copy the section for the FT2000 and paste it into a copy of your radios.ini file. I inserted mine just below the FT1000 entry. (I don't think it makes any difference where you place it.) To set up DXbase, check the following items: Go to "Tools", Options", "User Options", and select the tab for the appropriate radio. (radio 1 or radio 2) Select Yaesu for the Manufacturer and FT2000 for the Model.
