Since the Challenge total is exactly as Tony explained, you can simply go into the DXCC Award module and checkmark 6 meters THRU 160 meters (ONLY those bands) - then make sure that "Exclude past submissions" is NOT checkmarked ... click-on the "Compute" button --- you will now have a complete listing of all of the CONFIRMED QSOs that make up your Challenge total.

In the past when I have checked my LoTW count and the DXBase count the QSL record numbers matched. This evening when I checked my QSL count is as follows: DXBase = 17252 and LoTW = 17237. As you see the DXB QSL record count is 15 QSL's higher in number. If it was the other way around I would simply import everything from LoTW and see what happens, but it looks to me like nothing would change since DXB shows more LoTW QSL's then ARRL. The total number of QSO's match in both logs. I not saying for a moment DXBase is wrong, what I am thinking it is possible operator error. If it is not operator error is there a way these two logs can get out of sync on their own? Can LoTW mess up? Is there anyway I can find out where the errors are using the tools in DXBase? It would be nice if I could get the two logs to sync once again. Again, ideas anyone? 73 Eric - VE3GSI. Then ZIP up your new mdb file (the one you created from the Non-DXB Import) and email that one to me also ... I will make a report that will check the 2 mdb files and will tell us which QSOs are in your current ve3gsi mdb file - that are not on LoTW.. This would be the easiest/best way to doublecheck the contents of the 2 databases.. The critical thing here is to obtain the URL where you can download your COMPLETE logbook that exists on LoTW.. 73 Joe wa6axe Eric - VE3GSI wrote: > Ideas anyone? > > In the past when I have checked my LoTW count and the DXBase count the QSL > record numbers matched. I then IMPORTED my adi file into a Virgin database and made a quick report that tells me which QSOs are in my current logbook.mdb file - as compared to the mdb file I made from the LoTW adi file download.. It worked out very nicely.. 73 Joe wa6axe Eric - VE3GSI wrote: > Ideas anyone? > > In the past when I have checked my LoTW count and the DXBase count the QSL > record numbers matched. Stewart) Date: Mon Dec 10 10:23:01 2007 Subject: [Dxbase] DXBase and LoTW QSL at Odds Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Erie & Joe, There is a feature of LoTW which will let you recover the CALLSIGN, DATE, TIME, BAND and MODE of the QSO's you uploaded to LoTW. The information will be returned in an ADIF file which you can edit if you want and then import into DXBase. The process is described on this web page: http://www.arrl.org/lotw/developer/adifout.html You simply need to send an HTTPS command to LoTW with the appropriate parameters in it and LoTW will respond with an ADIF file. I tried this and (by adjusting the start date) was able to download the last 150 QSO's I had uploaded to LoTW in a single ADIF file. My "TEST" returned ALL the QSO's I had uploaded to LoTW - those which HAD an LoTW match (QSL) and those with NO QSL match. In essence, it returned my entire log for the period I asked. Here is an example of what you need to send: https://www.arrl.org/lotwuser/lotwreport.adi?login=CALLSIGN&password=PASSWORD&qso_query=1&qso_owncall=CALLSIGN&qso_detail=yes&qso_qsl=no&qso_qsorxsince=1900-01-01&qso_withown=yes Of course, you need to replace in the above example TWO fields. Replace "CALLSIGN" with "Your Call" and replace "PASSWORD" with "YOUR LoTW Password." If you have loaded QSO's into LoTW with other callsigns, then you need to eliminate the "qso_owncall" statement in order to get all your QSO's. Try this command, but change the "qso_qsorxsince=1900-01-01" statement to a very recent date so the file you download will only be the last 100 or 200 QSO's you uploaded. This can be a "TEST" to make sure you have the parameters set correctly. Once you have received the "TEST" file, you can try to import it into DXBase (into a NEW database for the TEST.) You may have to EDIT the ADIF file before you can properly import it into DXBase as I never tried to import it so I don't know how that would work. The ADIF file contains a "QSL" field like this: <QSL_RCVD:1>Y which indicates that you DO have a QSL for that contact. For contacts that have been confirmed, the LoTW file includes a field like this: <QSLRDATE:8>20070415 and it indicates WHEN the QSL was confirmed on LoTW. You can use those fields to determine which LoTW QSO's have been confirmed. If that TEST works successfully, then you can proceed to download all your QSO's. GL.
