Gary,

I just looked at the wording in the HELP file.. Jack
says:

"At program startup, the software compares the current month based on
your system clock and checks your database for any events entered that
are scheduled for the current month."

This tells me that Jack is dealing with a Calendar Year
(current year only) ..

Once January 2008 rools around, you should be able to
plug-in those Dec 2008 dates and all will be ok.

Joe,
Thanks for the Help lookup, but it seems to me if Jack's algorithm is
checking the system clock for the current month it should also check for
current year. Dec. of 2008 ain't the current month! I suspect you're
correct about things righting themselves as soon as Jan. rolls into the
system clock. Thanks again.

Hi All,

Had to strip and redo my computer but was able to save all the files before.

I have reloaded DXbase and my log but all my Styles are back to default. What
is the proceedure to restore my styles from the files that were in the DXbase
directory? What files do I need to move?

Thanks in advance,

Subject: [Dxbase] RTTY spot problem
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi all,

I'm still experiencing an ongoing problem with un-needed RTTY spots
showing up as needed, and needed ones showing up as un-needed. For
example, I've had Angola (D2) confirmed on RTTY since 2004, and
valid/accepted for DXCC. Should be cut-and-dried, yet I'm still
seeing cluster spots for D2NX on RTTY coming through as needed.

Conversely, I almost missed the E4 on RTTY because it didn't show up
as needed and it stayed greyed out, despite the fact I had never
worked it on RTTY, and E4 has never been confirmed for me, period.

In Band-Plan Mapping I have 14070-14072 set for PSK-31 and
14072-14099 set for RTTY. All the RTTY spots for both the D2 and E4
stations mentioned above were in the typical 14083-14088 range, too,
so that shouldn't be an issue.

Any idea what's happening here?

Cheers,

Peter,
