I have already received very helpful information on getting Dxbase and the FT-2000 to work with each other from W5VX but still cannot get Dxbase to communicate with the radio.
I use the RigBlaster Pro interface for digital modes. My radio is fed through the RigBlaster to the computer on Com 2. I have used this configuration with my FT-1000MP for years without problem. I have been able to run Dxbase, WriteLog and MixW flawlessly. I have been able to get WriteLog and MixW to communicate with the FT-2000. The hold out is Dxbase. I have modified the radios.ini file as supplied by W5VX. I have tried a number of combinations for the comm parameters in Dxbase to attempt to get communications going but no joy.
