Joe, I used the update on DXBase here on both my main radio computer and my backup computer. It worked like a champ. I think many, including myself, need to give you their thanks for all the help you provide.
Incidentally, I got about 400 QSLs from the bureau yesterday. I was able to enter and print QSLs responding to these in about one hour. Had I been required to respond in writing, with my arthritis, I would not have been able. I think that DXBase is one of the best values going! 73, and thanks a bunch! This newest version will update your DXbase2007 QSO-TAB table, Call-Map table, Alias-Map table, and Primary-Prefix table -- for the entities : E5, E7, and 4O When and whether you might want to use the exe file - is up to each user. I wanted to simply provide a vehicle for auto-updates for those users who might want to you it.. The program will be available for quite sometime - in case you want to hold-off on making your updates right now. The webpage for the EXE file/Instructions can be reached via the following URL: http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/selection.html The very top LINK will take you to the webpage for the Auto-Update exe (ZIP) file. On the webpage, I have placed a screen-shot of what the program looks like right after I ran the program against my own DXbase2007 files. Thank you to all of the BETA testers who previewed/checkout the exe file. 73 de Joe WA6AXE ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected]
